1943.
The distinguished design of the residence Prati, created by
Giulio Landi and Luigi Piccinato is what sets it apart from
all others. The residence was built in two twin four story constructions
united by a prominent staircase.
The individual apartments were futuristic in style: each
one consists of one large room with a corner kitchen and bathroom,
for the use of one or two people wanting a private life free
of domestics concerns.
Giulio Landi, who lived many years in France, called these
“studios”, and included a daily cleaning service,
thus giving life to the first “home/hotel”.
