in the city
If you love designer creations, you can purchase them in the show rooms
of Via Condotti, Via del Babuino, or
Via Borgognona. Stop by the many fine jewellery stores
on Via Bocca di Leone and Via della Vite,
or see the artistic handmade jewellery on Via Mario dei Fiori.
Fine menswear can be found on Via del Gambero and Via
delle Carrozze, and there are beautiful clothing stores on Via
Vittoria and Via Belsiana. Via Cola
di Rienzo is not far from us, and is a bit more commercial. Several
large department stores are located there, and it has is a nice variety
of food stores. In addition, Via del Corso is just 10
minutes from our Residence, connecting Piazza del Popolo
with Piazza Venezia. Half way down this street is Piazza
Colonna, where the beautiful and recently renovated Galleria
houses the large Feltrinelli bookshop, an excellent source for any information
you might require. Strolling through the famous Trastevere
neighborhood, you will undoubtedly be tempted by its numerous small ethnic
restaurants, and you will be charmed by the many small boutiques offering
items for interior home decor, fasionable accessories, and the tiny but
very interesting bookshops.Antique lovers should not miss Via
del Babuino, just 15 minutes from the Residence, Via
dei Coronari, located behind the well known Piazza Navona,
and Via dei Banchi Vecchi, less famous but where small
surprises may be found. In closing, Rome is made up of many different
neighborhoods, each of which is like a tiny city, able to satisfy your
every need and present you with pleasant suprises.
